Is there an injection to cure a fungal infection?

Why is the "fungal injection" myth so widespread? Because owners often confuse Fungus (Ringworm) with Mange (Scabies/Mites).

Antiparasitic Injection (Ivermectin): Very effective at killing Scabies mites. One injection drastically reduces itching. This is what non-experts often call a "fungal injection."
Antifungal Medication: There is no injectable form for outpatient use. It comes in capsule (oral) or cream (topical) form.

Why Is There No Antifungal Injection?

Systemic antifungal drugs in injectable form (such as Amphotericin B) are typically used only for life-threatening internal fungal infections in human hospitals, and they are highly toxic (nephrotoxic). They are not used for routine cat skin conditions.

There is a biological product called a Fungal Vaccine (Biocan M), but its purpose is Prevention/Immunity, not an instant cure for an active severe infection. Its availability is also limited.
