Making the decision to let go of a loyal companion who has been by your side for years is the hardest moment any pet owner ever faces. Guilt often creeps in: "Am I giving up too soon?" or "Is this really the right decision?"

But when quality of life is gone due to a terminal illness (end-stage cancer, total kidney failure, permanent paralysis), Euthanasia is the final gift — freedom from unbearable pain.

When Is the Right Time? (Quality of Life Scale)

Don't Wait Until It's Too Late!

We use the "HHHHHMM" scale (Hurt, Hunger, Hydration, Hygiene, Happiness, Mobility, More good days than bad) to help you objectively assess your pet's condition:

At-Home Euthanasia Procedure

We prioritize comfort and peace. No forceful restraint, no cold metal table.

1

Step 1: Sedation (Calming)

The vet administers a mild sedative injection. Within 5–10 minutes, your pet will feel deeply relaxed, pain will fade, and fear will subside. You can hold them during this stage.

2

Step 2: Full Anesthesia (Deep Sleep)

A second injection puts the pet into a deep sleep (unconscious). They feel nothing at all — just as if they were in surgery. All reflexes cease.

3

Step 3: Euthanasia (Release)

Only when you are ready, the vet administers the cardiac agent. The process is very fast (seconds) and peaceful. The vet will use a stethoscope to confirm their passing.

Cremation & Aftercare Services

In Jakarta, burying a pet can be difficult with limited land. We work with a professional pet crematorium:

Emotional Support (Grief Support)

It is okay to cry. Losing a pet hurts just as much as losing a family member. Do not listen to anyone who says "it's just a cat or dog." Your grief is valid.

If you have other pets at home, allow them to briefly sniff their companion's body so they can understand what happened (closure) and do not spend time searching for them.

Palliative Care Consultation

If you are still uncertain, discuss your pet's medical condition with us. We will give you an honest opinion on whether there is still hope for treatment, or whether it is time to let go with love.
